China Academy for Public Policy Translation (CAPPT) is a non-profit research institute of Beijing International Studies University, one of the leading foreign studies universities in China. It is led by Professor Zhang Ying, Dean of the School of Interpreting and Translation of BISU. They are supported by a distinguished group of top Chinese policy writers and translators.

CAPPT aims to provide, on a timely basis, the foreign community who wishes to deepen its engagement with China accurate and quality translations of the latest public policies adopted by the Chinese government, with focus on key regulations issued by the Beijing Municipal government, and interpretations of these policy documents to increase better understanding of China’s public policy environment. Documents of keen interest to the foreign community will be translated on a priority basis.
